Hello Nabil,
So wonderful to see this site. My relatives spent the summers there and i
had the best times of my life in the 1960's and 70's. The cool mornings
and evenings, walking to the plaza, enjoying family and the food WOW!
SO many stories to tell and one of these days, Insha'allah, visit again.
There was a restaurant we used to visit that was on a side of a mountain
with views like you showed. They used to make eggs w sumac and we would
grill meat and have a wonderful meza and day of enjoying the beauty that
Choueir offers.

period in Dhour el shoueir. My booking had already been confirmed
with couple hotels one in Beirut the other in Jounieh. I'll make a one day

Hi Everyone,
New to the group. My husbands family is from Dhour El Choueir . Hes hoping
to connect with some family members, which hes never met. Very lonely
growing up in the USA without Family! His name Is Geroge Ataya. His mom
was Rose and father William. He has several aunts and Uncles possible
still living, most... likely cousins are decendants of
Toffiet,Uniss,labieb,Lily...not sure of the spellings. All were Atayas.
does anyone know of them?

some time in Dhour at my grandfather's bldg.
Salim Moujaes is my grandfather and my mother is Soulaima.

Lena Baaklini I miss Dhour el
Chouier very much.. I was there last summer it is one of the most
beautiful mountains in Lebanon.. My mom is from Dhour (halabi family) and
my grand mother (korban family) so i am proud to be part of this beautiful
place.. glad i found it on Facebook..
